Community Processes & Administrative Management Intern


Are you interested in gaining practical experience working with rural communities, conservation initiatives, and project management in the Ecuadorian Amazon?


Sumaco Conservation is seeking an intern to support community processes and administrative activities based at Wildsumaco Biological Station in Napo Province.


This internship is part of our Emerging Professionals Program, which supports students and early-career professionals interested in conservation, research, environmental communication, and sustainable development within the Sumaco Biosphere Reserve.



Who are we looking for?


We are looking for final-year students or recent graduates in fields such as Social Management, Social Sciences, Administration, Communications, Sustainable Development, Sociology, Anthropology, Tourism, Project Management, or related areas.


We especially value candidates who are organized, responsible, proactive, comfortable working with others, and willing to work in rural and field-based settings. Intermediate English is required.


What does the internship include?



Accommodation at Wildsumaco Biological Station

Meals during the internship

USD 100 monthly stipend for personal expenses


Upon successful completion of the internship, Sumaco Conservation will provide a certificate of participation indicating the internship period, area of work, and responsibilities carried out.
